The JuniorRIBsters Team
Jon is one of the youngest ever to achieve an MCA Masters 200 / OOW 500 Unlimited. He is also an RYA advanced assessor / instructor delivering nearly all of the RYA practical power, cruising and shorebased courses for various establishments throughout the UK.
JuniorRIBsters was started off by Jon in 2007 after he'd witnessed several serious accidents involving youngsters and powerboats.
Like Steve, Jon has also competed in the RYA Youth RIB Championship claiming two Regional Titles.
Jon Geddes - Founder
Steve's determination and enthusiasm has driven the re-launch of JuniorRIBsters. His experience extends back to when he was 6 years old when he stepped onboard his first powerboat.
He has so far claimed two RYA Youth RIB Championship National Titles, Completed his National Powerboat Licence, holds a full offshore racing licence and is an active volunteer at Northern Exposure Rescue.
Steve is a Youth Ambassador to the Honda Youth RIB Championship.
He has done safety work for some major events, such as the Clipper Ocean Race, NSSA Sailing events, and is currently signed up to cover the Diamond Jubilee on the Thames.

Neil is the HM Sea Cadets' area trainer for the North. He climbed onboard in 2012 bringing with him a wealth of experience.
He is an RYA Advanced Powerboat Instructor, used to working with youths and eager to promote safe boating.
Neil Reid - Instructor
Chris has been on board since day one back in 2007 acting as race officer for the 2007 event in Abersoch.
He is Principal of Hoylake Sea Cadets, Chief Instructor at West Kirby Sailing Club and a secondary school teacher at a school in Merseyside.
Chris is an RYA National Race Officer and Powerboat Trainer/Inspector and he has run many national and international sailing events.

Kevin is the Director of HotRIBs, an online powerboating magazine which has supported JuniorRIBsters since day one providing press coverage for all of our events and news updates.
He is a keen RIBster himself and shares the same enthusiasm as JuniorRIBsters in promoting safe youth powerboating.

Phil is part of the Junior RIBsters founder team sharing the same ethos as Jon. Phil is a enthusiastic photographer covering all of our events.
He has provided photographs for the Media, including newspapers, magazines, T.V, and Wirral Council.
Phil has previously owned several large RIBs and holds an RYA National Powerboat Certificate.

Edd has been into watersports since he was 9 years old. His first passion was sailing and since then he has moved onto powerboating as well.
Edd currently holds a National Powerboat Certificate and is aiming to become a powerboat Instructor in the near future. He has just finished working as an events organiser in another sector and hopes to bring this wealth of knowledge to JuniorRIBsters.
