Success and growth continued in 2008 with over 30 entrants taking part in the Merseyside event.

2008 to 2011 allowed our Founder to achieve numerous marine qualifications and establish himself as a leading trainer, assessor and centre principal for RYA courses.

2012 sees the re-launch of JuniorRIBsters with increased backing, new volunteer support, new website, and great opportunities.

We are planning exciting and challenging events for the coming year to be announced early February.

Welcome to the website for JuniorRIBsters. We are an organisation run by volunteers dedicated to getting young people on the water in a safe way, teaching the essentials about safety.

About Us

JuniorRIBsters is an youth organisation, run by young people for young people. It is a not-for-profit organisation founded by Jon Geddes in 2006.

Our first event, in 2007 at South Caernarfonshire Yacht Club attracted 25 entrants and was a huge success with positive feedback from youngsters, parents, volunteer helpers and sponsors.
