About Us

Junior Ribsters is designed for youth aged 16 and under. We aim to provide youngsters with or without powerboating experience with the chance to learn new skills and techniques. We want to promote 'saftey at sea' therefore we aim to teach the correct and safe way to drive powerboats.

We hold several events per year which help improve the skills of young drivers and also teach them new skills. The events are great fun and very beneficial, they consist of various skills courses which involve many different aspects of driving powerboats. The events are open to any person aged 8-16 who is a member of Junior Ribsters or a sailing/powerboat association/club. The events are run by RYA powerboat instructors with a wealth of experience.
